RELENTLESS INNOVATION

2007 TASER Keynote Addnullress

TASER XREP

The theme of the keynote address at the 2007 TASER Tactical Conference was “Relentless Innovation.” During the Keynote, Tom and Rick Smith, Chairman and CEO respectively, showcased three major new technology programs: the wireless eXtended Range Electronic Projectile (XREP), a strategic alliance with iRobot, and the new Shockwave™ T-RAD (TASER Area Denial System). Indicative of TASER International’s expanded research and development efforts, the company filed 47 U.S. and International patent applications in 2006 alone.

Coming Soon: The Keynote Address will be available to download later today. Check back later.

TASER AXON

The AXON is a tactical networkable computer that combines advanced audio-video record/capture capabilities with tactical communications, and is designed to be worn by first responders such as law enforcement and corrections officers, soldiers, and private security.  The state of the art audio-video earpiece with imager, speaker and microphone integrates into the communications loop between existing radios and the communications headset, recording video of critical incidents from the visual perspective of the officer.

The TASER XREP (eXtended Range Electronic Projectile) is a wireless projectile that fires from a 12-gauge shotgun. It delivers the same neuro-muscular incapacitation (NMI) as our handheld TASER X26, but can be delivered to a distance of up to 60 feet. The XREP combines blunt impact with the field proven TASER Neuro Muscular Incapacitation that renders a violent offender virtually incapable of moving or harming others. TASER Shockwave

The Shockwave activated area denial system is a manually activated TASER device that simultaneously fires six TASER Cartridges to saturate an area with TASER NMI. The Shockwave design is modular; they can be linked together side by side to cover wider areas; they can be stacked to provide multiple discharge salvos; and they can be independently deployed in just about any configuration to cover just about any area size and shape imaginable.
